Q & A With the Installer
Q. What was the major benefit of using Amvic over alternative in-floor heating panels?
A. The major benefit of using Amvic’s Pex Panels is that they are easy to work with and extremely durable.
Q. Why did you choose Amvic ICF?
A. I was looking for a solution besides electric floor heating and I have a relationship with Green Building Technologies, a distributor of the Ampex Insulated Panels by Amvic who introduced me to this hydronic heating panel alternative.
Installer Quote
I used to use electric floor heating but I chose to use hydronic in-floor heating because it gave me the flexibility on choosing a boiler system that I knew I would get the most our of my dollars spent. The installation was simple, with no staples, and a clean slab, the panels were easy to fit together and it was really easy to identify leveling inconsistencies because of the size of the panels. The design and durability of the panels also allowed for a walk-in tube installation which sped up the installation process.
