Archery Blocks: Precision and Durability with EPS Foam

Discover the benefits of EPS foam for archery targets. Learn why EPS is an excellent material for archery blocks, providing a clean and reliable target surface that does not create a film or melt onto arrows, ensuring consistent and accurate performance for archers of all levels.

Archery Blocks archerExpanded polystyrene (EPS) has literally thousands of uses. But did you know that it is an excellent material for archery blocks? At ICA, one of our customers just re-ordered a block to replace one he bought 10 years ago. In our conversation, he said it would have lasted even longer if he would have protected it from the outdoor elements, simply by putting a cover over it. He boasts that EPS archery blocks are the best archery blocks available. I was intrigued and wanted to know more. He said that the EPS archery blocks have excellent performance with a carbon tip arrow. EPS doesn’t melt onto the arrow or create a film on the arrow like other archery block products. The carbon tip arrow slides right out. Archery blocks are available in different densities. Our client’s preference is 1-1/2 pound density, but you could go up to 2 pound density.
