Expanded Polystyrene (EPS)

EPS is produced by using steam to expand and fuse polystyrene beads via a variety of manufacturing processes creating a closed-cell structure that contains air, making it ideal for a variety of applications including construction, packaging, shipping, and food storage.

Energy-Efficient, Durable, Moisture-Resistant

EPS is a versatile, cost-effective choice for construction, packaging, cold chain, and customizable component solutions. EPS is chemical-resistant (non-organic chemicals), non-toxic, and recyclable. When used in commercial and residential construction, EPS insulation products significantly reduce energy requirements for both heating and cooling. With high R-value retention and resistance to water, EPS improves a building’s design and construction integrity. EPS has low weight relative to its strength and rigidity, making it well suited to protecting fragile shipments while keeping shipping costs to a minimum. EPS is also perfect for insulating products that require temperature control.

Shaping A More Sustainable World

Sustainability is one of our top priorities, both for our products themselves and for what our products make possible. Manufactured without ozone-damaging compounds, recyclable and endlessly reusable, EPS has a smaller carbon footprint and results in less pollution than the manufacturing of alternative materials. And EPS helps create a more sustainable world by making buildings more energy efficient, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, preventing product damage and waste, and reducing shipping fuel usage, just to name a few. We’re constantly working to find new ways to be good stewards of our customers’ visions and of our environment.
